And suddently, it’s time.
Flying with messy hair. Tired eyes. Aching legs. Annoying sounds in my head.
Suitcases full of clothes and feelings I could never explain.
Scents of home and of the new caress my face, wiping away the tears falling from my eyes.
Twelve hours. To think. To imagine. To cry and to hope. To say goodbye to a part of me and welcome the new one.
Is it a greeting or a see you later?
I was told leaving is hard, but also coming back is too. Because you are not the same person anymore.
Everything changes.
Here I don’t know who I am, I can be anyone I want though. Everything resets, even the guilt. Just being enough brave to embrace the unknown.
I understood I can’t hide my feelings and emotions. I don’t have to be scared of them.
They are part of this process.
I’m the process. That way, I live them to the fullest.

To leave is to die a little, but it’s also the only way to be reborn anew (Edmond Haraucourt).
