I finished my first book, my first literary experiment: Premature.

At the moment, unfortunately, there is only the Italian version but I would like to translate it intoEnglish asap.

Through a futuristic and imaginary story, I want readers to reflect on how decisions and thoughts are free in our society and, most importantly, if this modern freedom really exists.

The main character, Eryn, is a young woman who is totally focused on her career and job.

She never thinks about having a family with her husband.

But suddenly, during her thirty fifth Christmas, she gives a pregnancy test to her husband: it’s positive. She’s pregnant.

A few months later, their first daughter is born, surprising everyone. In fact, she was born two months before the due date: a beautifull premature new baby born after seven months.

Eryn’s life changes..and little by little she becomes a new person: she resigns from her job, she moves away from her usual friendships and she disappears from her best friend Val.

Soon she understands that all these changes are not a result of her decisions and free opinions, however they depend on something more influential than her.. or even better – someone more powerful.

Eryn will be involved in a series of dangerous events, she’ll investigate old unsolved police cases and she will have to fight, not only for her life but also for the people she loves.

And above all, she will realize that all the disturbing events that happened in the last few months always occurred when she was alone with her daughter …
